Day 1
Arrival in Uyuni and onward journey to Ojo de Perdiz
Pickup at the airport or your hotel.
Drive south through the highlands and the foothills of the Andes. Passing through the villages of San Cristóbal, Culpina-K, and the fertile, high-altitude valley of Alota (3 hours). Cross the “Toad Valley” and the Cañapa and Hedionda Minor lagoons, finally descending into the Siloli Desert (3 hours). Overnight stay at the Hotel Tayka del Desierto or similar.

Day 2
Ojo de Perdiz - Laguna Colorada - Colchani
Early departure for Laguna Colorada to see the famous James’s flamingos, which are unique among their kind, and to watch as the lagoon’s color changes until it eventually turns red. Afterward, continue on to the Sol de Mañana geysers, passing by the hot spring and on to Laguna Verde at the edge of the Llicancabur volcano. Drive north toward Colchani. After dinner, take a walk near your hotel, Luna Salada or similar.
The “Luna Salada – Salt Hotel” captivates with its extravagant building constructed from salt blocks and is known for its panoramic view of the Uyuni Salt Flats. Guests can also relax their bodies and minds in rooms decorated with local handicrafts.

Day 3
Uyuni Salt Flat
At 10:00 a.m., we’ll drive to the vast Uyuni Salt Flats, stopping along the way at Ojos de Agua, where we can watch the locals harvest salt; we’ll then continue on to Incahuasi Island (also known as “Fish Island”), where we can admire the famous giant cacti. We then continue north to the foothills of the Thunupa volcano to visit Coquesa and the nearby chullpares. In the late afternoon, we return to Uyuni and spend the night at the Hotel Luna Salada or similar.
Included in the price: Lunch in the middle of the salt flats. Dinner at the Hotel Luna Salada or similar (drinks not included)
*Important note: During the rainy season (from late November to late April), the area is difficult to navigate because the roads are unpaved. On the other hand, the Salar de Uyuni fills with water and transforms into a large lake. Although the view is very beautiful, it is usually difficult to reach Tahua and/or Isla Incahuasi, so the itinerary may change.
Day 4
Transfer to the airport
After breakfast transfer to the airport or indiviudal.
