Day 1
Copacabana – Island of the Sun
Boat ride across the lake to the Island of the Sun (1 hour) to the small port of Huacani, where an “Apthapi” (a traditional highland lunch) is served; the boat trip then continues to the ruins of the Inca temple of Pilkokaina. To conclude, a hike to La Estancia with a magnificent view of Lake Titicaca (approx. 1 hour).
Included: Lunch (traditional “Apthapi”) and dinner
Overnight stay on the Island of the Sun at the La Estancia Ecolodge or similar.
The La Estancia Ecolodge is a breathtaking location in the southern part of the “Island of the Sun” on Lake Titicaca. Its construction preserved Andean architecture and combined it with modern comforts, while always maintaining harmony with the surrounding nature and ecosystem. The cabins were built with adobe bricks and thatched roofs and are nestled among terraces dating back to pre-Inca times.
Day 2
La Chincana – Moon island – Copacabana – La Paz
DON'T MISS THE EARLY SUNRISE! Hike down through Yumani, visit the Inca Stairs and the Water of Eternal Youth, and then take a boat north to see the ruins of Chincana and the Sacred Rock (1 hour); continue by boat to Moon Island (1 hour) and the Inca ruins of the Iñak-Uyu Temple, finally reaching Copacabana (1.5 hours). Afterward, private transfer to La Paz (3.5 hours).

Note: If the visit to La Chincana is not possible due to circumstances beyond our control, the itinerary will change as follows:
